ABOUT ALEC SEBASTIAN

 

Alec Sebastian is a filmmaker from East Aurora, New York. Recently graduated  from SUNY Oswego, he majored in Cinema and Screen Studies with a minor in Business Administration.  Editing and Directing are two of the biggest passions of Alec, and it shows in the films that he has worked on.

 

As of late Alec’s films have taken on similar themes of comedy as well as some dramatic and experimental elements. In his most recent production ESCAPE, Alec wanted to combine a viewers emotions with the visuals that they would experience throughout the film. Alec believes that film is a very powerful tool in persuasion as well as telling a story, so making a film like this combined both aspects.

In BAR OF DREAMS a comedy film is combined with a sitcom based television show, where the comical experiences of the characters leave for a comical film. Banking on Your Love, with a comedic script took on a darker undertone about a man and woman who rob banks for very unexpected reasons.

 

On top of directing and editing films, acting is also a skill that Alec has picked up on as he produced films. TURBULENCE is a film that stars Alec as a pilot breaking up with his co-pilot. After things go south it is safe to say neither pilot will ever fly again.
